→ Kövesd Vineyard Sunset Tour

I’m sure we’ve already mentioned how enchanted we are by the Kovesd Vineyard and its beauty, but the real magic happens when the sun goes down. Legend has it that Kopasz Hill was once inhabited by fairies. They suffered a lot of heartache due to the fire spitting hillside.

One day a fairy fell into the gaping fiery hole and his heartbroken love searched and searched for him. It was her tears that watered the land giving the grapes their nectar like sweetness and tinting its wine different shades of gold. They say fairies don’t exist any longer, but if you walk the vineyards in the shimmering lights of the sunset you will feel how real the legend is. Minimum of 4 people.

Price: 5000 Ft/person
For more info and to reserve a space please call +36 30 9788717

During the wine tasting, we will present illustrations with our own pictures about our
vineyards, grape varieties and, of course, the Tokaj foothills.

If you want to taste or buy wine, please let us know by email or phone. In winter we only accept guests by prior arrangement.
Our current opening hours for spring and summer can be found on our Facebook page.
We hope to see you soon!

6 Must-Visit Wineries in Tokaj Hungary

"Planning to visit the wineries in the Tokaj wine region of Hungary? We know just how difficult it is to put together a wine tasting trip to this area. Although it’s one of the most well-known wine regions in Hungary, there isn’t a lot of information available for those wishing to visit."

The Heart of the Kövesd Cellar Row

"Let us stop here for a second; it is my fault that I had the impression I knew the region like the back of my hand but I had to realize that it is only the tip of the iceberg I really know. I cannot be grateful enough for the Szedmák family for opening my eyes."
